Well what I was thinking of was a sci-fi-ish coding site, but I was a little bit disappointed. The site looks quite professional, although I think it could be even better if you added a bit of a sci-fi feel to it to match the title of your forum. Very nice head and base images. They flow quite nicely with the gradients. Excellent background it matches, and makes the board really stand out. Content still needs work, and well starter topics should defiantly be added, and plentiful amounts of codes. However it's new, so I can understand that completely. Great work, just possibly add something sci-fi to the site, maybe just in the banner or something like that.

I haven't got time to do a full analysis of teh site but I will say this. When I visit a forum, a coding error is always off putting, in fact it makes me want to leave; especially on a coding forum. The second thing is overuse of the word "Arena". Try to use something different for some boards. To me it gives the impression that it is unimaginative in that it repeats it self too much But other than that, I'm very happy to see you've left that pixilated font behind

Yes but it does not match the forum because the green appears no where else on the forum

To make it more si-fi, you could get an image roll-over code and have the alternative buttons as glowing ones.

Your forum does have a professional look, and what you need is sci-fi. I like the blue very much, and I like the mouse over effect on your menu buttons. You need to make the white part of your gradients transparent and change your gray section of the gradient a glowing green. I suggest that you make your banner animated with colour- dome section glowing blue, and text glowing green. Same for your on/off buttons- bring in some colour & glow. So basically my advice is dump all grays and bring on the colour with glow effects.
