Hi - I'm a little bit nervous about this. I'm new to the techy stuff, new to proboards, etc. etc. I would appreciate anyone to give Occam's Codex a look-over and tell me things I could improve upon or alter and advice on doing so, things you like, and constructive criticisms.  No reason to be nervous, I'm here to help. I really love your banner! Unfortunately, It doesn't match your background image. You should get a background made to match, and also make gradients from the colours in your banner. I would also consider making menu buttons as well as on/off buttons. Please check out our Graphics forum for any help you need. Once you get these things done you can always return here for even more advice. Here are a couple codes to get you started, and our Code forum has a lot of good stuff, so you should take a look. Hey, thanks for your help! I made a couple changes... You're right, it looks better with the matching background (ha, I saw one and went "oooh!" and didn't think much about matching ) and I altered the scrollbar and some other things. Thanks again. |

Hi, I've been playing around with things A LOT I may undo/change some things, but I'm kinda happy with the way things look. Except for the home, etc buttons; looking for replacements for the default. I'd appreciate another look-see and tell me what you think, what I should change, whatever! Thanks! |

I think it's looking good! You need menu buttons, I'm sure you know. I don't care for the water effect gradient & gif at Forum Statistics. I would consider going semi transparent on your grads & windows. I really enjoy the animated items, and I would keep them.
