I feel how it is. That's what happens on my forum. We have over 222 members but everyone joins, downloads game saves/mods, then leaves and never comes back unless they need help. We have like 10 active members tops. It's so annoying

I feel how it is. That's what happens on my forum. We have over 222 members but everyone joins, downloads game saves/mods, then leaves and never comes back unless they need help. We have like 10 active members tops. It's so annoying That a Global Problem even on PB Support... there like 55,273 Members but only 10,000 Members are active the rest a banned, Spammer members or to busy to get online. SIMPGR |

I'm thinking that maybe alot of people come here straight from PB Support thinking they won't have to wait so long to get a code or request. Once they get what they want they leave till they need something else while having never looked around to see the other qualities of this forum.
As I got here by accident, I didn't come here looking for codes or support, I haven't even been to those forums yet. However, it's nice to know they're here when I need it. I know Elindir has helped me several times at PB Support and does a great job.

 Perhaps, but as I haven't yet had any problems with my forum yet, so I would think a lot of people wouldn't know that. I'm sure you know so many people are very impatient for codes and help. Also, many times it's their own fault. I mean look at the subjects: Please help, help, need code- nothing specific which would get them help sooner. If I moderated there, I would ignore those too. I've never had to wait long for a code because I say exactly what I need in the subject. Maybe this forum should delete those members that join and leave. I'm going to do that on my forum too. I mean what's the point of having alot of members that don't show up or reply to anything. I would rather have 10 active members than have a hundred that do nothing.  Sorry if that was a little long winded.

I'll send then an email to remind them that they have an account in this specific forum and give a deadline. If they reached the deadline and were not active, Their account will be deleted from my forum and they should register again to participate in my forum. That is what I would do. |

That is certainly an option, although I know I wouldn't take the time to do that for unknown members.
