I just downloaded Opera, and so far, it's alright. Almost like Firefox, with the tabbed browsing and all. I just found this useful trash can tool sort of thing, where when you close a tab you can retrieve it right from the trash can.
I would say that Firefox is better, but I haven't fully explored Opera yet, so I can't be sure. I use IE occasionally, but not often enough to stop using Firefox.
Which browser do you prefer?

IE...
*goes to a site with same topic I posted in and copies and pastes the reason* (so excuse grammer)
Reasons: It has the most compatability of all the browsers...and it's not plaugued by adverts, viruses and spyware any more than the other browsers...I also as a coder prefer IE as the other browsers tend to be rather picky, which makes it harder for me to learn... I also dislike FF for the emmense ammount of errors it has, it reads a page differently each time and thus in my view, isn't fit for purpose...and shouldn't be on the internet for download until it's sorted =/
Anywho, I like the fact IE7 will have all of the functions that Opera and Firefox have...then there's no real need to stay with them...
If I was then forced to chose between FF and Opera. It'd be Opera...I just prefer it. Plus it gets custom scrollbar detection soon =)

Tried Firefox and didn't like it at all,so i went back to IE. I am now on IE 7 beta version,and i must say it's great,but it does make the text look bold on websites...lol The tabbed browsing is a lot easier and you dont have all the buttons in your bars like with version 6.

oh yeah, I forgot one last thing. IE is better for error notification, which is a BIG help to coders as you can tell (usually) what's wrong with a code...especially usefull if you do something silly like put [ instead of {

I have tried Firefox and had problems with graphics loading. I prefer IE for all the reasons stated above. It seems to be most dependable and hassle free. I haven't tried Opra thro.

IE for me...most of the reasons have already been stated. Another reason tho is it's javascript. Some javascript platforms cant be read by firefox. This is a big bug. Like soul-divider sed b4...they need to get all these bugs fixed BEFORE they have it available for download. They should've just released the BETA version, and let testers check out all the bugs before it's available to the public...i use Firefox ocasionally, but just to check if my browser detection scripts work, and to see how many bugs i can count
