Took an age to load (might be just my comp though as it does slow down on weekends) and it's no different to the default proboards one

proboably cause of the image is last to load cause it's externally hosted so after loading a few times it should cache to your computer

Oh it loaded today:
Love the background, can't see the righting on the banner very well though. Don't like the board highlights and don't like that they fix. The text colour should be lighter. News fader colours don't match. You can't see what it says under 'as cities burn' on the background as the news fader is in the way. Custom menu buttons would be good. Make sure there are threads in every board. Get some custom on/off icons and folders. Like the coding. Like the font.

In addition, your forum took an exceptionally long time to load. I don't care for the stark black with white highlight, it's enough to give me a headache. Your banner never fully loaded. I'm curious where are your images externally hosted?

It seems he's using sitesled, but I may be wrong. :-/ The forums does take an exceptionally long time to load and the background image is nice, but, that too takes a long time too load. The cell highlight is a little odd, are you trying to use transperantsy in them? Anyways, the banner is nothing special just a piece of the background image, but it seems like it has animation in it, not sure though... :-/ Overall, you forum's takes a long time to load, :-/.

Main Page: I thought i had transparent listed on there im having some one look at the code and yes i know about the news fader remember this is just a test . Highlights: Ill clear all that up ASAP along with other things Custom images: wait till i actually put it on my site. Banner has animation is screwed cause the Menu below the banner code didnt load fully cause of an error. I understand it took a while to load

I didn't have the loading problem everyone else seems to have had (yay for ethernet!).
But I find the text to be next to impossible to read because of the transparency. The on/off icons look fuzzy and are also extremely difficult to see properly.
The older skin in your selector is a bit better. But it still has all the same difficulties. There's just far too much going on on the page for my tastes.

George, You still need to change text & on/off button colours. You also need menu & folder icons.

Yeah, what Bobby said. And the transparentsy...I don't exactly like it. It's fine and all, but your on/off icons are barely seeable and the text in the info center is unreadable, except for the white text. And you might want to resize your forum to the width of the banner and then use this code to center the background image for the people with the larger resolutions. And then make sure to change the background colour to #000000. <style type="text/css"> <!-- Body { background-position: center; background-repeat: repeat-y; } //--> </style>

Also, scrolling is really laagy on that board, it moves in chunks at a time...and I don't have a slow internet connection either. Also, i'm not overly fond of your on/off icons, they're very hard to see same for the text in the info center, or anywhere else the background doesn't fill. I do believe also that centeralising your background would be a good idea for those of us on a higher resolution because the image doesn't even repeat.... and even if you have a higher resolution skin, there's nothing telling me of it . Up points. I like the scrollbar, and the background image is quite unique too. Banner looks nice and stands out well to the rest of the forum. Overall....I think your forum is good, but there are some key areas to upgrade. Good luck with your forum =)
