You're done a nice set up for the Roleplaying community-I see you know your stuff!! OOC is rarely used to roleplaying forums these days, but IC and OCC, (In character and Out-of-Character) are great ways to attract the dedicated Roleplaying fans. You might have a bit too many boards though. I might suggest condensing a few using sub-boards. For example SPEW seems a bit empty. I think you have alot of activity which is good for attracting new members and keeping them. As for the graphics and layout-I have a few suggestions. Remove the multi picture background-it's distracting and too cluttered. Either get a background that covers your entire board and does not repeat itself, (or get the code that helps you out with that), or don't have an image for your background. You'll find your board will look alot better. Other than that, your board seems to have alot of default icons-which isn't bad but it's not good. Slowly try to move into customized graphics. Be sure to get a banner soon! 7/10

Jennifers new link. jennifer6198.proboards92.com/index.cgi Well, I came to rate and found you moved, so I'll wait until you got it together in your new place before I do so. I would suggest not using the old backdrop though.

Everytihing is basically there, besides the background and stuff. So tell me what you think, pretty soon I will have the background. But as of now, what do you thnk. OK, here it is: Banner: The banner is nice. It flows nicely with the "Harry Potter - Hogwarts" theme.Nice job there Menue buttons and icons: These are default. You sould really look into finding some custom or premade ones. This will help in the look and feel of your forum, and maybe even help it gain some members. Try the Premade Database here, or look through SolidSnakeDesigns.com. They may have some that you would like Gradents: I like your gradents, but, I see some hard breaks in them(white lines). I don't know if those are there on purpose, or what, but, for me, they kinda get annoying. If you want them there, you may want to try for a darker color. maybe alittle black(000000 or 222222). Other than that, the look pretty good Color customization: You need to get a good color scheme that will go with your banner. Right now, your colors are the Proboards default, and kinda drive guests and potential members away. If you need hex colors, I would suggest looking through this page. Board layout: 24 boards and 3 members. Not a good count at all. You may want to ide some of those boards, not remove them, untill you get a decent amout of members and activites. That is, unless you feel that you need all of those board in the begining The average number of boards to start out with is 8-10. Info Center: You may want to look into getting an info center. Maybe looking through out database, SoCal Codes catabase, and even the Proboards Support database could help you. And, if you dont want a compleatly new info center, there are plenty of codes to add on to your current one Overall: I would say, overall, that you have a good thing going. I belive that you are more dedicated than alot of other people who have Harry Potter - Hogwarts forums. Good job If I had to, I would give your forum a 5/10 for now, because of what I stated above Good luck ;D
