iPods

Anyone got one? I bought myself a iPod Nano the other day and I've been fiddling with it the past couple of days, fun little gadget....but so expensive. But it was worth it. ;D

Hate it? Like it? What do you think about all of the different iPods out there??

Personally I find all variations of an MP3 player quite a rip off for their price tag.

1. There's no real advantage over a C.D. player
2. You can pick up a good C.D. Player for £10 while a decent MP3 Player will cost ten or fifteen times that.
3. WHen you buy an album, it's on a CD, so you can't listen to it until you get to a computer

Until the price tag drops significantly, they aren't on my wishlist.

They're smaller...more portable...you can fit more songs onto it than a normal CD has on it.

True. I find people only buy MP3 players because they are more convienient to have than a CD player, but the price is a little steep.

But, you don't want to be carrying around a computer all the time, do you?

1. I find that having ever song you ever had was a slightly pointless venture, since usually people cycle through tastes, and will listen to a particular album or artist at once.

3.Yeah, hhence going back to the CD player is far more cost effective in my opinion, and you need to go back to a computer to rip them for an MP3 player
