The idea behind this thread is fairly simple, but I want all those replying to give it some serious thought. What are you willing to die for, to protect? For me, there are a couple of things. |

Really a touchy question, I mean no one wants to die......but if you insist. Id have to agree, for my country, USA!  If I had to join, I think I would join the Air Force, I watch the movies, like Black Hawk Down, and really wish I could be there, flying those choppers around. My family, although hopefully that doesnt happen, because, well we dont need to get into details and make everyone sad. And I dont have a girlfriend, working on that as well, hehe. Other then that, I think being a firefighter and saving people everyday, would be something I would die for. |

I have already signed name on dotted line 8 years ago. Ones of whom I am still in for are my Family and Friends. So they can live the life they want to live. My Fiance used to be part of this list, but that is no more.

I'm joining the military the year after i finish university(so in about 9 years), so obviously for my country.
I would also die for the people i care about(family, friends, girlfriend). Now, before you give me some stupid comment about that, without my family, my friends, and my girlfriend, i wouldn't be who i am today. I value their lives over my own.

But anyway, what would I die for? umm...not much to be truthful, probably only to stop some kind of apocalyptic tragedy, probably not for my country, since the government at the moment doesn't deserve it. Family, yes I might, but only if I knew that they would live if I did die for them. wow, I sound increadably shallow |

ignorign VVVV's msg lol ... nah ur not shallow . thers no point diein for sumfing that wont be saved in return and awesome ppl from england. i new ther wud be ppl but like most ppl on proboards tend to be from america. and atm i would die for ma friends cos theyv just giv me an awesome day . pus me and ma mate have dun some awesome parkour ;D
