I have just registered, having used some code, it seemed the right thing. I have looked for any rules and found none, except to happen upon this board and See the Entry by Ros on not advertising your forum.
Does that include the link in my signature and do I need to modify my profile. There is nothing gamy or exciting about my use of proboards, it-is just to make local people aware of what is happening at our local club and hopefully, to encourage open discussions or even anonymous discussions to continue being a club for my near aging years. My name is Norman, my physical activities are on the wane, though I am coaching young people five days a week in competitive swimming. My age group mostly concentrates on technique and aerobic performance. I have been doodling with the board for some years now and had very little success, but I will persevere

Telling your friends is a good start, word of mouth can work sometimes. Hey Norman, welcome to eCreations. Keep it up with your forum and something good is certain to happen sometime.

Hi norman, Welcome to eCreations. I agree with michael. A man of your age should know alot of people in your area. Try telling them and the people who go to the club. If there is a bulletin board there try putting up some flyers or something along those lines to advertise it xXx|DANNY|xXx

Thanks for the positive support and encouragement.
I have made people aware and have even created credit card size laminations for them to take away, to save the bother of finding a pen and writing without support, but with influence from brewery products. Also put site links on the club freeweb site and informed the owners. Tip given when I first started the board. Think there is a reluctance to commit when potentially viewed by the universal, but dog with bone springs to mind
