It's hardly a request. Plus this'll gimme a chance for follow up questons. Anyway:
I've spent a while trolling through various snippit locations and can't find what I'm looking for, so a hand would be great.
basically, I'm after the line of JS that detects if the "admin" link is present in the menu bar. Basically, judging (to a basic level) if the member is staff.
I gave it a go myself, but I keep screwing it up. Either my RegExp is wrong or I'm looking in the wrong td. Or I'm using some sort of over-bearing method when there's an obvious quicker method that hasn't hit me yet.
Either way, just a little hand would be greatly appreciated. And I do realise I could probably just steal the line from some-one else's codes which happen to check this stuff. But, well, that's dishonest and wont really give me the chance to improve on my scripting skills.
